Danish downtempo dubbers Lulu Rouge released their debut album “Bless You” to the world this week. The duo, that Trentemøller calls “the next big thing to come out of Denmark”, is consisting of DJ T.O.M. and Buda, two of the most respected DJs and producers in the Copenhagen club scene. They’ve already get a ton of love from the Danish press (including five 5-star reviews) and beyond, and now “Bless You” is finally available at all digital retailers, with a handful of remixes on top.
The debut single, also called “Bless You”, is minted by a deep bass and features vocals by seven-times Danish Music Award nominee Mikael Simpson, who takes the basic ponderousness of this track away and enhances it with his amazing voice that makes your flesh creep. Today we have the honor to present you something special from the city we’re grown up. It’s kind of a rush of memories to our heads in multicolor and high definition and we had to practice bungee jumping to cool down a bit. These boys represent the background music of our younger days, beamed the light that guided us safe home after long, through-danced nights and are responsible for every hard beat-punch in the gut we well-earned.
Ladies and gentlemen, boyz ‘n girlz, chicas y chocos, dames et messieurs - throw your hands up in the air and pick ‘em up again for the Wighnomy Brothers and the first mix CD from the House of Freude Am Tanzen. This mix comes along with all kinds of technical deftness, mechanical handcraft-skills at the Technics-1210, a whole bunch of kittenishly details, subtleties and genre unusual additions. It’s such a delight to zero in on every fineness and the more you will listen to this piece of gold, the more you will discover of it’s attention to the details.
This record will be released on the 7th of April and can be acquired by purchase directly at FAT. With a sense of pride and peak-official we have the ability to bring this Wighnomy-mix directly to you in stream. And now - enjoy the ride.
Our week starts up with a visit in Austria at Clara Motos house, made of thousands of twinkling little stars. Of course this is spoken only metaphorical, but represents a nice introduction for the way this young girl creates music.
Raised in charge of jazz and classical-piano, Clara Moto found her lane to advance herself in the Austrian electro-music scene. With her feminine and unusual smartness, you can perceive in every tone, she vastly enriches minimal-house throughout. Feathery and atmospheric sound compositions characterize her style - entirely clean and harmonic, but on the other hand very frisky and even a little fussy passim. Clara is a class on her own - we know, InFiné does and you will agree about it, too!
Amiable Julien of InFiné permitted to share one of Clara Motos tracks and an one-hour mix with you. So grab your beloved person and snuggle against her/him - this is what we like to entice you to do, right now.
