We Call It A Day

Woolly thoughts. What would happen if we pension off our little baby at a moment’s notice. Give him a conclusive rest. TheFastLife@happy_hunting_grounds.org… Would anybody miss our over conscientious writing style, our purring voices, our shifted self-perception? Would anybody miss us? Would we even miss ourselves? Didn’t we ask these questions once already? Are we caught inside a self-repetitive infinite loop? Are we WE? Am I’m ME?

Besides that, what would our last post look like? What would we write about? Would we wallow in self-pityness? Would there be a last post at all? Or would we buzz off without any comment? Is this maybe already the introduction of the end?

Well, certainly it isn’t! And with all our heart we can say that we’re still in love with our daily biz! But sometimes we get in touch with such supernatural incredible songs that would be adequate to make our farewells. And our French friend Error Love brought a track of that supernatural kind into being.

This man has got the aptitude to take us by surprise over and over and over and over again. We pull off our hats, kneel down, want to hold him tight, cast him in gold and do everything imaginable, just that he’ll never stop to create music. Oh yes!!!

As a matter of course we advise you to take a listen to the marvellous charming sound of sayCeT, too.

Xinobi Anoraak Remix

Upperclass spelling style: every following sentence will start with “I”.

I truly have to admit several facts:
I am hardly ravished by a variety of French musicians and producers, not this standard-stuff every second-class-club is playing on midnight to get new-rave-kids moving. I think of real componists, magicians of melodies, having the skills to make you tripping every second. I am very glad guys like “As The Stars Fall” and “Anoraak” exist. I sometimes wish to be French. I got special feelings by listening to Anoraak tunes, I cannot describe, yet. I am hardly diverted by real life. I start staring into space. I heart. I enjoy breathing. I know how dreams smell. I feel sand between my toes. I just relax and let go.

She Killed In Ecstasy

Legg Action is a myth! But we do not want to die stupid! Maybe one day we can disclose Legg’s secrets. Where is Legg coming from? Where is he/she hanging around? Maybe we hang around with him/her and got no clue, cos no one seems to know who Legg Action is?! What is this 70s movie-thing all about? Is she/he in love with Soledad Miranda? Is Legg Action a she? Googling him/her is like finding just ourselves. Legg appears decent, doesn’t even upload his/her mixes on his own, claiming to think nobody would listen to ‘em.

We do say: the mixes we receive from that guy/grrrl are tough as nails and recommendations on its best! You might remember the “Was Schulmädchen verschweigen” - mix, we introduced to you last April.

Today Legg Action shoved over a second one, that is unbelievably incredible, again and a must-have gem to hold tight for a long night! “She Killed In Ecstasy” surrounds you for almost 80minutes with fine-flavoured electronic loveliness and chivalric entertaining mixing-skills.

handling of files: load them both to the same folder and unpack the Part 1, it’ll automatically unpack pt 2 for you and glue both files to one mp3.

The Fast Life Poster

The Fast Life Org

It is hanging on my desktop for almost 3months: Last March we made a double-page for an American Print Magazine, that wanted us to design to. In the end it unfortunately was not taken for some reasons.

After handling the pain we do like to share this graphic with you as a poster. You got the chance to choose: Either you download the zip-file (the zip is 6Mb, the pdf inside 133Mb) to print on your own, or you holla at us via music@thefastlife.org to order one and we gonna send it by mail worldwide in July.

For printing it on your own: it’ll be 24″ wide and 15″ high, 300dpi, the bleed is 1/8″ and adobe pdf preset is like “high quality print”.

You can check a bigsized view by clikking here. The graphic was made by one of my few best men Norbert Reissig and his buddy Carsten Ullrich, a freelance/laFraise-combo. Thanks so far for sparing no effort and hustling one weekend for us to get this thang finished.

Got fans?

You don't even know

We got mobile love from Joe Castagna. This Joe seems to know us! Does iphone users are forced to write without T9? Forgive him for his spelling mistakes!

1) Should we have more Indie-Posts?
2) Is Joe the best proof, that TheFastLife is just one person?
3) Is this the best proof, that we are UK?
4) Or do you see too many errors in our vocabulary to stand this speculation?
5) Should we write “idiotic” with “d” instead of “t”?
6) Are we blond leading manufactures for sunglasses, in real life?
7) Should we start writing from our mobiles too?
8) Would you excuse our spelling mistakes?
9) Should I start programming the blog-design with my new cell phone?
10) Did we paid Joe for this words?
11) Do you read our Rss?
