World Book

I really got a big heap of books. Thrillers, spellbinders, nail-biters, comics, page-turners, tearjerkers, biographies, text and reference books, spelling dictionaries, best-sellers, very old and rare specimens, a whole pile of encyclopedias, how-to manuals, masterpieces and not to forget my horse-book. But to the best of my knowledge I can’t call a World Book my own. Must be one of this newfangled audio books.

yalla

I hardly have no real bonding to HipHop, but this one is like a experiment of worldwide-music havoc, making your head shaking, with hiphopic influences, more precisly hiphopic vocals. I hardly love what this 6minutes make to your ears, your brain, your body. You’d never expect in the first seconds where this ride is going to take you. I hardly support The Glitch Mob for their pink teaser and this musical adventure, that pumped more than 1.200gallons of kerosene through my veins. Per minute.

Old Money

What the hell is sliding into my body with these tracks?
I gonna tell you what happened, even you’re not interested…especially, when you’re not interested:
I spilled my coffee.
My lap is wet.
For unknown reasons my cellphone rang 4 times. 4 is no good number in China, cause the pronunciation of the word Four in Chinese (si) is similar-sounding to Death.
My fingers quivered.
I started smiling, cause smiling increases my face value.
I released 7000 new 12 Inch in 34 seconds.
I discovered the sense of life.
I was able to draw dignity and arrogance.
I had a phone-conference with S#T#N and G#D.

I became a quite young new fan of Old Money, Konrad and their gangmembers. I think we would perfectly fit together to enjoy severe nights, prepare blackmail-letters without gloves for more danger and discuss about the realization of procurement requirements of relevant internal market directives. I am going to apply for a background dancer job in a close neon-dress at their shows!

Enjoy their lovely new gems in highest quality airing easiness and heartwarming entertaining blitheness:

Sgt Sass

Should we deal with a title like this? Are we tolerant? Intolerant? Do we support the intolerance? Do we fly the flag for tolerance and rainbows? Are you gay and superficial enough to hate us now? Or to love us? Is this HipTech?

All you have to deal with is: This is Fag Rap! Sgt. Sass hopes to reclaim “faggot” in the same way female rappers reclaimed “bitch” in the late ’90s. Do they disperse homophobia of the Hip Bizz? Did Japattack washed the homophobfighters twice?

Go for it, if you love to shake your sassy ass to ghettoid dancebeats with gnarly rough lines.

Back To The Days #1: Street Dance
Home, Music, Street, Video, Electro, 80s, Hip Hop 7th Apr 2008 // 12:01 am

During a walk across a car boot sale one week ago, Gucci Boy detected a record he was immediately head over heels in love with - Street Dance by Break Machine. Outcoming of this trove, the TFL crew decided to come up with a petite 80’s retrospection week full of tidbits we want you remind to. Aaaight!

Because it sets the ball rolling and of course because we like to be as nonchalant as the three boys in this clip of 1984, Break Machine a.k.a. Bon Rock a.k.a. Keith Rodgers comes right from the start. Street Dance was one of the first breakdance tracks ever in the international charts and it’s catchy whistling sound incites you to take part in. We, for one, do nothing else all day long.

Furthermore we like to prepare you for this year’s Battle of the Year and come up with some breakdance lessons. Work out hard and you will beat every breakdance crew in single mode! But - KEEP IT REAL!

Lele Speaks

Second day in a row, an upcoming UK shooter spits in her unique British English some rapping flair combined with Hip Hop Ghetto Electro Beats into the silent night to rise your pulse and make you throw a smile over to Britain.

South London Lele Speaks surprising with her album (free to catch) “The Mentalist Daily” with a high variety of fresh and young beats, that make you subliminal nodding with the head when nobody’s watching. Checking her crib, checking her rhymes we deeply recommend remembering her name. She comes tough as nails with gentle rap-style and hustling kicks, that match perfect stepping on the sidewalk with the jeans in your socks. We couldn’t decide, so we took 5 of her dewy album. Baller Status and we deeply agree “No Stilettos, Kids need Kicks!”

The Tape vs. RQM
Home, Music, New Release, Electro, Hip Hop 6th Mar 2008 // 08:58 pm

The Tape vs. RQM

The Tape vs. RQM consisting of Berlin based and well known producer Robot Koch and MC RQM from Barcelona, released a new 4 Track EP named “Luvely” containing the original track and three remixes by Chris de Luca (Funkstörung), Filewile and Kalabrese.

“Luvely” is a soulful, rock-electronica tune, built on a strong hiphop foundation. The intro gives the impression of listening to a live band play – an impression that remains throughout the track, even though the electronic production is hardly concealed. A heavy rhythm section, super tight arrangements, intelligent in your face rhymes and an incredible over all groove make up this monster of a tune. Strange this piece was made in Berlin, when it sounds so incredibly American. It’s just so very soulful, so big city sound, so 70’s influenced, so movie score… so big! This sounds like the Mahavishnu Orchestra of hiphop – from a Billy Cobham kinda angle – so take it as a compliment.

We have the ability to present Chris de Lucas heavy twisted remix to you, that haves the power to rock every breaks floor out there in a blink! If you like what you hear - jump right here and make the full EP your own.
