Kalima Shop Titi

Las Americas V.1 the latest EP from Buenos Aires-based record label ZZK Records was digital released this week. Produced by Poirier, a DJ/producer from Montreal, Las Americas features a reggaeton-inspired track with vocals by also Montreal-based vocalist-producer Boogat called Kalima Shop Titi.

South America’s maybe most futuristic record label is expanding its sound, vision, and synchronicity with like-minded producers from around the world, 2010 version. You’ve heard people talking about World Music 2.0, Nu Whirled Music, Global Gettotech and other terms describing where urban bass music is headed. Las Americas V.1 is your chance to experience it in all its cross-cultural glory.

Actually we’re no fans of anything that contains the term reggae, regardless of which connection. But the Lagartijeando remix is just a killer on the dance floor. He’s combining the most obscure South American folklorico with heavy bass and debuts his first track on this release.

DJ Manaia kicks your scraggy ass back to Stone Age with the greatest of ease. One single beat of his swinging-tingling tunes and you turn upside-down with a ripping ringing in your squarish head. Feel free to call yourself Lisbon for six bass bounding bangers and morph into a louco-dança-mestre screaming “grandioso” throughout.
Oh yes, we already can imagine you in our mind’s eye - “grandioso, grandioso, grandioso”!

What Dreams Are Made Of

The American Dream Team crew has an itch to make our dreamy dreams come true!

Miss Konami found her long-desired pink pony standing in front of her bed after she woke up this morning. Our beloved head of the business Milli, obtained a second pair of arms to work any faster. Tiffi turned into a lifesized Hello Kitty cat. And Mi Nou and me finally gained our long expected TADT mixi-mix-mix. It’s as if Christmas had come early!

Unica Cosa

Our Italian warhorses Amari Night Members Club refresh us with a new remix… from the underground to the dancefloor. I have no idea what the lyrics are about because they trip over in full speed and moreover I don’t master any Italian… is it Italian at all? But the point must be about THE ONE THING!

Hummm? What may Marta Sui Tubi have imagined? Chewing bubblegum with your best friends? Singing the national anthem of your country totally blotto? Planting sour cherry trees on the motorway? Please tell us, we like to know! We’re totally naive and overcredulous!

Munich Bronx

If you dig ghettotech-bass-boom-boom-thingumabob, you perhaps will take much pleasure in three guys from Munich and their a little odd titled project Schlachthofbronx. What will you have to expect? Well, by their own account something between heavy swearword cut-up bounce and basslines with German attitude dropping. Well then!

Flufftronix Taming Sharks

Flufftronix

Go kid, get the Indiana style of waiting on a bus stop! The Indiana style of cruising around on your flossy bike and smashing shopwindows, of praying in a church, of relaxing with your mother on the couch, of heading over to a party with nothing on ya, except of your silken shorts and a new haircut, of totally skewing your sweaty body on the dancefloor together with your gang. The Indiana style of making the most of nothing, of preparing breakfast, of flexing your muscles, of stepping up jumping back, of feelin what you don’t, of blind-dating a shark, of feeling an unexpected climax, of praising and yelling what it’s all about in a hysterical sovereign moment at 2am in a crowd of dance-crazy hardliners who gone crackers.

Michael “Fluffy” Flufftronix punched a blast of 2 explosions into your room, reflecting the feeling of a vis-à-vis with a white shark and one of the greatest workovers for Dead Prez’ “It’s bigger than Hip Hop”, so I would really write a hundred sentences in a row, that I have to catch these tracks live. We’re so addicted, but hard ruff Miamibasslines and a soft gradient mood in a track is hardly irresistible. And Flufftronix seems to have golden hands to pitch heaven on the dancefloor into 4 minutes!

Mediafire: Dead Prez - Bigger Than Hip-Hop (Flufftronix Ghetto House Refix)

If you’re a lover kid (what we highly recommend) go, get the high-quality version for a little fund on Fluffy-Blog via paypal or get it from Snocap on thee myspace page to raise his booking/promotion company Rad Summer. Everybody should deeply wish to have that boy pressing Ep’s forever!

You are welcome to share this boy, these new bangers, his “old” tracks with all of your friends, he’s the reason for burning unique CD’s for beloved persons again, they should cherish their whole lifetime.
