It is hanging on my desktop for almost 3months: Last March we made a double-page for an American Print Magazine, that wanted us to design to. In the end it unfortunately was not taken for some reasons.

After handling the pain we do like to share this graphic with you as a poster. You got the chance to choose: Either you download the zip-file (the zip is 6Mb, the pdf inside 133Mb) to print on your own, or you holla at us via music@thefastlife.org to order one and we gonna send it by mail worldwide in July.

For printing it on your own: it’ll be 24″ wide and 15″ high, 300dpi, the bleed is 1/8″ and adobe pdf preset is like “high quality print”.

XLR8R just published the latest issue #118 and we’re hardly proud that our Italian honey-bunnies of 3 Is A Crowd are inside the hiss. XLR8R pitched a page called “The Italians Are Coming”, wherein, amongst Bloody Beetroots, Crookers and Congorock, the 3 charming beach-babes Albi, Froz and Giga take a seat!

We highly recommend 3iac, currently hanging partially in Berlin, appearing auspicious and like hardhustling workhorses to declare their love to the music and remixing. We swear these young ponies got rockets in their pockets, plug their pants into their socks and wear basecaps the other way round to hit the street the hardest way and ignite emotional fireworks. I can’t breeeeeeathe!

Crowd outside: As you can read above in the title we’re looking for somebody quite fit for making some graphics, we hardly got no time to create. In the beginning, it’s just about smaller teasers and animations, but we got a bigger project in nearest future.

So we badly need a boy or a girl with at least photoshop skills (some vector based and flash abilities would be advantageous), who is interested to make some stuff with us. Unfortunately we can’t pay anything to anybody currently, but you’re welcome posting through this blog. This might be not the world, but you’re free to let off steam, run riot and die, if you dive into the style we’d like to run. We don’t care wherever you are, how old you are, just want to see something of your skills and want somebody to count on supplying us with fresh gfx.

She is a painter, photographer, musician, and a wonderful gleam of hope on a grey afternoon. We love her style and her lovely way to create a new story, in pictures as well as in music. Currently she’s working on her 2nd album and the musical collaboration SFC 3000 with her fiancee.

For this purpose he has drawn, the whole past year round, every day one of his little monster into a real photo. Amazing is, how the creatures blend in - they somehow raise the feeling of beauty for the remaining areas of the photos. And - never fear! The monsters are not that creepy - but convince yourself!

You know we love art. But today I feel entirely head over heels in love by keeping tabs on the german street art duo Herakut while working together such as the wheels of a movement. For all you don’t noticed about until now - Herakut is the brilliant collaboration of Hera and Akut, who’s well known from the Maclaim Crew. Anyway, it’s just incredible how perfectly Akut’s detailed photorealistic aerosol paintings and Hera’s confusing, but heartwarming and melty style fit together.
Presently they have an exhibition called “Permission to Paint” at the Leonard Street Gallery in London. So if you’re able to rent a jet, borrow your parents helicopter, hijack a hovercraft or try to get control over a train and set forth to London. For all of you this is too reckless take a look at the exhibitions-flickr-photopage. And in addition we send over a nice video of the appearance of “Permission to Paint”. Enjoy watching.

Zum Wochenendausklang gibt’s was für die Augen. Der animierte Kurzfilm Revolt Of The Mouses entführt uns auf ein imaginäres Schlachtfeld, auf dem sich sinnbildlich Tradition und Moderne gegenüber stehen. Bleistifte, Radiergummis und Pinsel werden aus der Idylle ihres “Paperland” gerissen und müssen sich einer Übermacht von aggressiven Computer-Mäusen stellen.
Die Macher wollen Ihren Film als eine Art Fingerzeig verstanden wissen und lassen diesen in einer unsinnigen Parodie darüber enden, wie wir uns der derzeitigen Technik auszuliefern scheinen. Mit einem Blick auf das Werk kann das ja aber auch jeder für sich selbst herausfinden. Mein Hero - der kleine rote Wachsmalstift!
