Just a shortstopping infotainment for berlin-based-bored-this-evening: Facehunter from London is opening his exhibition at La Robe tonight from 5 to 8pm. Maybe you’re an absolute trendy person, that steals show or you have a naturally glamorous sunny look in your face, then you’ll get your chance being shot there, because that seems to be the goal this evening.
One blog we stalk, called “earwigs and wax”, will be there as well and is going to make a complete ass of himself. I would like to know if he’s going to win the ass-competition this evening, competing against a hard opponent, when you have a look what’s running around in Berlin Mitte right now.

Lovely Miss Mercy told me: It’s second time Pictoplasma is launching an animation festival, this year, starting on November the 22nd in Kino Babylon, Berlin. You might know them in book-form called “The Character Encyclopaedia“, an absolute eye candy to browse through.
Upcoming weekend (22-25th Nov) they get on screen with characters in motion. Different speakers going to please the audience, amongst others Doudouboy, Studio Soi and Acampante, while having lectures. Your eyes going to be stroked by a high variety of screenings. Get the whole schedule here.
I’ve heard a whole weekend-card costs about 72€, but you can have different single-screenings for lower prices. The exhibition, opening party and performance (by Hanayo, Donna Summer, Martin Hossbach) is in Rodeo Berlin on Thursday, 22nd - 7pm. Could and will be very interesting.

Krallt euch irgendwo fest - wir fahren Achterbahn. Nein, nicht diese Luschidinger á la Thomas die kleine Lokomotive. Wir nehmen den Space Shuttle mit Neon Rennstreifen, extra Power Boostern und Mark McCormick im Cockpit. Ziel sind die Worldtronics in Berlin - dem neuen Musikfestival mit Blick auf die innovativsten Hotspots der elektronischen Musik außerhalb von Europa und Nordamerika.
Zur Premiere geben sich Künstler aus Japan, Chile, Kongo und Israel im Haus der Kulturen der Welt die Ehre und zeigen, wie die verschiedenen Arbeitsweisen und Rahmenbedingungen sowie traditionelle Einflüsse zu höchst unterschiedlichen und doch stets hochwertigen Klangkompositionen führen. Dabei reicht das musikalische Spektrum von Minimal und Deep House über experimentellen Pop bis hin zu Congotronics und Acitón.
Wer jetzt neugierig geworden und, wie ich, wissen möchte wie DAS bitte klingt macht sich in der Zeit vom 27.11. bis 01.12.2007 locker und auf den Weg nach Berlin zu den Worldtronics.
