Trash Yourself
image: Matthew Isaac

Trash Yourself’s collab with The Toxic Avenger - “Die”, has undergone some very new treatments. Or to be more precisely - we have a bunch of three very different remixes of “Die” for you plus a remix the Trashers did in turn for Automatic Panic.

Sadly Kids at the Bar just add another rave track to our music-collection, that no one ever will recover again untill the year 2100 has come.
But fortunately there’re two more remix-versions of this track and what the two guys of Ghost Klub are delivering is dubstep at it’s best and almost skyscraping. On a level playing field is Jesse Jamz with his acid electroclash mix. There’s nothing left for me but to wish you fun while dying.

Nujax

Nujax DJ and production duo, comprised of our buddy Kid Legit & Girl Problems, have been making waves at Montreal’s nightlife scene ever since the success of their award winning club night “Sextape Fridays” at the Blue Dog Motel and playing alongside international talents like Cobra Krames, DJ Grandtheft, DJ A-Rock, Danny Daze and My!Gay!Husband!. Woof.

Now that they’ve built up a strong local following, the two start to release a debut set of tracks. Drawing from 90’s house, fidget and techno for inspiration each track is a banger that will have a crowd singing along and begging for more. Currently Nujax is preparing their first EP and planing a North American tour. More to follow on that soon.

DJ Loveboat

We got 2 new boats for ya! First is “Oh The Bass!”, a reminiscent of the great 90’s dark electro scene and the first song of DJ Loveboat’s upcoming debut album “YummY”. This track is is a powerful dancefloor-firecracker with a dirty bass and is featured by Fab Marq, better known as Fabulosa Marquise, on the vocals. Portuguese club electro pop at it’s best.

Number two is a remix for our beloved French power-poppers of Pony Pony Run Run, who we do support where we’re able to. Parade rest!

Midsommar Berlin

Berlin ppl might have heard yet, that Villa Berlin is closed. Maybe only during summer, but rumors got loud, that some Danish kids bought the area to build a gleaming new shopping mall. And cuz we luv rumors we’re with them as well: I have heard they’re not Danish, but Norwegian & will not build a mall, but a fckugni yummy huge kebab place with gogo-girls’n boys: Lafafel Scandinavian Style & human flesh, yeah! But this is no reason for a blogpost…we know, about 95% of our readers luv to party just for the party and luv to party on a party, luv to dance several days and nights without any uppers. They just sniff on dried meat to get the party started…easy as 1-2-3. Hunnybunnys, you can go again next weekend with the bookers, managers and pr’s of Awesome Agency: it is Midsommar in Berlin. The Swedish kids invite to dance at a 3-days festival in the center of Berlin with a line-up making mommas ripping their tankini off. You wanna drop the line-up to your friends in your AOL Messenger? Get the names:

Chicks On Speed, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Al Doyle (Hot Chip), Ian Pooley, Niyi, Format B, CLP, Malente & Lars Moston, Schulz & Soehne, Discobelle Djs, Franco Bianco, Jeff Samuel, Agaric, Sportbrigade Sparwasser, Gianni Vitiello, Les Titz Grands, Jake The Rapper, Empro, Ben Mono, P.Toile, Turmspringer, Red Robin, Rampa, Chopstick & Johnjon, Se*Bo & Madmotormiquel, Joel Alter & Dimitrios K., Demir & Seymen, Suess & Sauer, Cinthie, Stadthund, Obi Blanche, MMMatthias, Distrakt, Sick Sinus, I Heart Sharks, Fidelity Kastrow, Djs with bad haircuts, Mary Velo, Bounce Camp, Dilo, Bad Hairy Catz, Walker, Sylvie Foret, Robin Drimalski, The Harasser, Swam:Thing, 22Rockets, Drauf & Dran Dj-Team, Richard Zepezauer, Crek & Sirous, Murkage Cartel, Sam Ear, Kroppsprak, Da Benni, Andreas Jonsson, Donald Fuck, Cetin Sahin, Sonka, Grizzly Stullenheimer

If you’re a facebooker attend the event via event-id on facebook. Midsommar will take place between July 3rd and 5th at Spreeufer Jannowitzbrücke (S and U-Bhf.). So central u can go home, take a shower, eat a snickers, power-nap and come back without missing something misdemeanor.

Location will look like this:
event organiser Bjorn: “It’s near where the tourist charter boats stop, the river is a little wider there and there are lots of trees, it’s a lovely location. Plus we’re creating a beach underneath the bridge. The area stretches for about 200 metres next to the river, plus we have access to an old rock club there that’s not been used for techno parties before…”

Ticket prices are still in discussion, but might gonna look like this:
3 Day pass for 18€, 1 Day pass for 12€, before 11pm on friday a 3 Day pass for only 12€. Or just a 3 Day pass for 15€. Let’s see what they got.

Come around, dance your brains out and see us bouncing at the door!

Update!!! You can find the fully scheduled program for the weekend in this pdf!

Pretty Girls & Lasers

We got two very beautiful minimixes by NY-Kids Pretty Girls & Lasers, have been working to spread the electro-indie sound to more clubs in NY, breaking away from the standard house/progressive trance scene that starts dominating the club scene. Both miniminimixes belong together like monozygotic twins and are almost 20 minutes of pretty airy flavour and relaxed electronic behaviour, with almost every single track re-edited by PGAL. A must for a great collection of great tracks/mixes.

Cavaliers Of Fun

Imagine a one man space odyssey to discover new worlds, new beats, new sounds. Cruising through galaxies of retro synths spinning out huge solos, arpeggios running wild through the space prairies and beats the size of Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Ricco Vitali, the guy behind Cavaliers Of Fun, is piloting a solo space pod to travel back to the 80s on Planet Earth. But in his own private galaxy it’s already year 2112…
We do accept that!

DJ/producer duo Oh!Mega sends a track-duo, an original of their very own and one remix, all the way from Lexington, Kentucky  to Tallinn, Snickers.
