That clip got eveything:
A sexy 80s feeling, ugly colors, t-rex, typo with a glow, fading letters, history, robots, the universe-background, goa-elements, dolls, topless guys with nothing else than a bow tie…Fare Soldi know how to please the needs of the young folks in the new century.

Intergalactic

The intergalactic guardians of a mysterious relic, said to have the power to destroy galaxies, are on an age-old mission to prevent it from falling into the hands of evil. As the Galactik Knights were attending a ceremony to arrange peace between two worlds, the joyous festivities came to an abrupt end due to a suprise attack of immese proportions.

Out-numbered and overwhelmed, many of these legendary warriors were destroyed along with their planet. Only a few have been said to have survived the assault, and the relic has gone missing.
Years have passed as two mysterious beings finally find their way to a foreign planet. However, this new world may suffer the same fate. Their enemy, solely responsible for the ruthless destruction of their planet, may have located them in search of the missing relic. It is now their duty to protect the new world its inhabitants refer to as Earth…

… and so begins, the legend of the Galactik Knights.

Either these intergalactic tale-tellers are totally crackbrained or they’ve just watched too many Power Rangers, Sabre Rider, Silver Surfer and Transformers episodes. Whatever - casually they’re producing some funky tunes inside their space ship… Woooooosh.

I Mind Now

A very fluffy and loosely electro-pop-hopper is what reached us from far away Finland. TV Off - that’s dapper songstress Sara and deadpan beatsman Markku, who do nothing but warble away and stand around casual.

Well, in truth they’re drowning in work and don’t know whether they’re coming or going (recording first album, fetival and tour scheduling, …). But even these two northern lights are busy as hell, they got the hang of how to produce those very easy listening tracks. Check “I Mind Now” and let us know if you also feel S.P.R.I.N.G while listening. We’ve got the option to present you a little more of TV Off’s stuff if you take pleasure in.

Half A Hardcore Feeling

Do you remember Dutch happy hardcore duo Charly Lownoise & Menthal Theo? Hr-hr, yes? No? Maybe? You’re hardly trying to block these memories? Well, I actually do remember with joy!

“Come show me your hardcore feelings, with your raving meanings, cause I don’t know the way to groove. I never learned to dance this fast and I don’t know how to move. When the beats tickin’ hard and the beats tickin’ low may I think it is unique. I rather like to dance with you, like we did, cheek to cheek.”

Thats are the lines that make my heart feel 1996 immediately. Even not really happy hardcore, two Berlin-based knuckleheads, calling themselves simply DummeJungs, made me free-associate and establish a relationship with Charly & Theo. But please don’t ask me why!!!

A Don’s A Don!

A Don's A Don!

Sorry, but I’ve got no time for many words today, even these two blowups below would deserve as many laurels as if I could find! But fortunately our Dutch power-player Don Diablo has an also power playing management who did my job today. Props to Stephan Oorbeek!

[1]
For those who haven’t noticed yet, “Work Work Work” is all Don Diablo does! He’s been unleashing forthcoming releases like there’s no tomorrow. A few months ahead of release, you can get a first taste of his latest work, “Don Diablo - Work Work Work'’, right here! Don’s forthcoming release “Too Cool For School” got its first spin this week on BBC Radio 1 (UK) as part of Hervé’s Essential Mix and was featured in last week’s ‘’CSI: NY'’ on CBS! That’s a great start, as promo still has to start!

[2]
Stop the press: Don Diablo beats up the Plump DJs! Well, not really, but he does deliver this hot remix for their latest single “Beat Myself Up” on Finger Lickin’. Adding more funk, more bassline and more freakiness, Don does what he does best: take the track into a totally different direction without losing the feel of the original! At the moment Don is working on a remix for UK rockband Little Man Tate on Skint and he just finished a mix for the Stereo MC’s.

Hometown Glory

Hometown Glory

What a glorious start into this week. And what a luxurious, breathtaking, staggering master-piece that dropped in from UK and improves my hi-fi unit more and more the oftener it runs through it’s conducting veins.

This gem starts with a very quiet piano-intro that reminds me a bit of Yann Tiersen and recollected faded memories back into my mind - but just for a second. Next you’ll be blessed with is the gently voice of Adele and the source of this remix by Chewy Chocolate Cookies.

Even the whole piece already runs a bit faster than the original does, up to this point everything’s very calmy. But if you know CCC you also know from experience about his foible for danceable floorfillers. And that’s exactly what will make you keel over without any prior warning. A very coherent remix London’s Cookie is serving here and maybe his best work up to now!

Weekend Bo$$

Franki Chan recently created a new mixtape for Fairtilizer, but because we didn’t really had that much positive experience with this service, we simply made a “MediaFire” mixtape out of it and hope we don’t get reproved.

The mix includes a bunch of new IHEARTCOMIX remixes and tracks what made the tracklist read like the who-is-who of dance music. Designer Drugs, Totally Michael, Flosstradamus, Nadastrom, Heartsrevolution and Acid Girls - just to name a few.

Franki really has every reason to be proud about his mixtape and receives very rapturous acclamation from the TFL crew! If you agree with us, you may get the opportunity to watch Franki live and in action soon, cause he’s currently planning his first European tour and this piece below is just a forerunner of what you can expect! Gasp, did we ever wrote that much about a mixtape?

No Bad News

Well sorry, but I can’t stand that fucking pseudo-metro-hipster-yuppie-window-licker attitude Kanye West’s displaying throughout. And usually I’m ignoring everything that points West-wards. But the exception proves the rule again.

Up to now unknown, Canadian mystery-monger Young Electrik catched me with a completely new interpretation of one of Mr. West’s tracks. Cause I’ve got no clue what the original song sounds like, I’m unable to draw a comparison between the two pieces. But I’m sure, Young Electrik’s very emotionally and moody version of “Bad News” will bear easily any comparison.

A very smooth and catchy tune, worth every little bit and byte it was saved in. Whatever I’ve said about Kanye West, THIS ONE pleases my ears and makes me totally hook on what else Young Electrik prospectively has in stock. Seriously!
