Lady Citizen

Worldwide kid with the most question marks on his page, in his mail and in his life, better known as Lady Citizen, took us by surprise with an overwhelming huge package of remixes he chugged.

Or is the question mark-phenomenon just an error that occurs in embedding special Japanes characters?! Is this the enigma I’ll never solve?! Whatever, we’ve chosen 4 files to share, that’re irresistible and compelling to switch into party-mode with your very close friends and take them by surprise, too.

MediaFire: Cut Copy - Hearts On Fire (Lady Citizen Remix)
MediaFire: Heads We Dance - The Human Touch (Lady Citizen Remix)
MediaFire: Lets Get Invisible - The Jump Back (Lady Citizen Remix)
MediaFire: Lalory - On & On (Lady Citizen Remix)

French Horn Rebellion

Hey guys, it’s a very exciting time for French Horn Rebellion. They are prepping for our physical release for our EP “Up All Night,” and I wanted to send to you guys the mp3’s! Feel free to use them for any DJing and bloggy blogging purposes. It’s super awesome, with remixes by John Bourke (OKC), Database (Sao Paulo), and Mighty Five (Brooklyn NY).

Please share just 2 pitches to encourage the folks to purchase it on itunes

We’d die for Database if they want us 2 die! And for their gangbangers.
And we’ve chosen the original of French Horn Rebellion plus the - of course - Datbase-remix, cuz this one is a vociferous cracker, unclothing you within blink of an eye.

Yeah Fool

Walla Walla! Homie Yeah Fool shared a live set with us, that he spinned in Berlin last weekend in Villa. Check out the freaky behavior at the tables, the acoustic shaking of everything god gave goddamn Yeah Fool and the technical development of his skills within the last yr. Pitches and transitions get tight and clean.

Prepare for the new weekend with this mix and may you gotta enjoy Gee “Why to Eff” tonight in Villa Berlin again, while hosting and spinning with A1 Bassline, Pelzique, Cinthie et cetera p.p. Watch out for a shooting in the mix…

The Lipsyncs

Peng Peng! The Lipsyncs first mix leaves nothing to be desired: it’s frenchy, franchise, fidget, disco disco, cheeky, entertaining, strong, bassy, basti, pumping, yummy, checkered and feeds the needs of the peeps. The Lipsyncs is sure we dig it and we did it. So we’re sure you’ll dig it, we’ll see if you did it! Yeah! Professional usage of tenses! Don’t forget to check his dreamy remixes in his myspace-player.

UK-based George Lenton just called to say h.e.l.l.o and to ship over a fine assortment of his already BBC Radio 1 approved sweetmeats. We simply helped ourselves and snatched benevolently at his offer of audio-kickshaws that made us click our tongues and whistle amused like a buff-breasted wren.

Here’s a selection of three of George’s sparklers we’d like to warble directly though your speakers now. This is pirate radio, baby.

Owl Vision

Gothenburgs Gee to the O to the Wee to the Ision, short and sweet Owl Vision layed a remix in our hands to care and deliver. Miss Li’s tune, with the name I always have to look up: “Ba ba ba”.

The vocals need getting used to, but the implemented beats and kicks implicate Owl is a mackdaddy with a checkered casio, agleam hi-tops and oily upper arms, commanding knobs and dance in step while distorting an original the noble way of distortion.

Whether you like the Sweden-boy check his album free to load on Owl Visions’ myspace.

Kistov

…the outcome of this is: Kistov, who blasted a remix for Belgian New Wave Group Luna Twist (1981-1983) around our heads, may to confuse us, may to give our thoughts a good shaking and may to dispel our winter-lassitude. And yet unknown Belgian Boy Kistov succeeded.

Exo

The Exo from France shared 2 great remixes and a sugarsweet mixtape with us, that we definitly not want 2 hide from the reading audience, cause they got it all: bouncing basslines, eurodance-parts, squeaking, sweeping vocals, manliness and magic glitter, that makes us little girls dance like cheerleaders on Mr. Brown. Keep your eyes open for these 2 french youngsters.

Skitsnygg

I remember that one of my first words as a baby was “Skitsnygg” and I guess I am not the only one. My momma sent me on a boarding school at the age of 2, where I studied how to combine engineering and drawing watercolors without eyesight. After my graduation in 1991 I started to support the former GDR with cash and shaved baldheads of coloured hooligans. Until today I shaved 31.974 heads and spent an uncountable amount of edibles.

The word Skitsnygg is the reason for my success and my fulfilled life. And this is why I want to give you your own Skitsnygg to pet, to snyggle with and count on.

Afrikan Boy

Do we finally find back 2 our roots? Do we now got more in common with Nigeria than with bodybuilding? Is this finally the moment we bethink ourselves of the cradle of mankind? Do we at long last stand up everything in the blogosphere? Do we google for Central African Musicblogs to add them on myspace and exchange links? Should we put our real nationality, color and religion straight? Is this our moment of truth and freedom?

Or is it still just a cheap-designed musicblog by thirdclass easterneurope digital media designers without knowledge of some php and without a mouse, just making gfx with the mousepad on their 7-year-old laptops (3,8kg), who think they’re the centre of the universe and have no clue of the scenes and troubles peoples have to deal with?! Do we still fill lines drunken to make our posts longer and not caring for the real intention of some tracks we share? Should we take more private lessons in English and concentrate on the real message musicians send out by their lyrics?

Or do we simply just not know what to write about the remikz Old Money made for Afrikan Boy, except of the buy link?! Or did the commendatory email we dropped to URB Magazine for Old Money-homies leached us out?! We want to close this post with the words we headed over to URB for “URB Nomination - Bloggers Holler” to recommend our Brooklyn-Boys no. 1.

We wrote sth like:
Old Money is the realest game in the game and one of the few ghettolectro rapping guys we share with our readers. any other hiphopelectronic acts can stay in their dirty dark homes. no homies are realer than Ould Money. We here in thefastlife headquarter never shake our beautiful asses without an O.M.-track in our player. we’re some of the most honest kids in the blogosphere and swear our statements on the Bible/Koran/Tanakh/Chaka Khan/any other scriptures.

never mess with chaka khan,

Letters In Number

Letters In Numbers punched our faces more than a year ago! So, the TFL headquarter in the basement is absolutly happy, that they did it again in 2009. We fell for their pitches last year and start to adore for their new gems today!!! Glad to hear, that they’re going to release a new album soon and luv to share 2 parts of it with us and you and us plus you and with me and you and them and all your livestock.

Dirty Disco Youth

After his successful Deadmau5-remix, that stepped around the world, Dirty Disco Youth is back with another hot new bang! This workover for Prodigy’s “Omen” hides in your pants 2 start a party in the most awkward moment of ur daily grind. We agree with D.D.Y. 2 not be big fans of Prdgy, but in the mix this petite cracker got magic steroid-asteroid-flavour and pitchforks listeners 2 outer space.

Bonus-information: You can loop that file 24/7 without a noticeable break of end 2 beginning. Try & win an invisible shirt!
