Music-Collage: Plemo and Rampue

Plemo and Rampue are known for their eclectic sound. Few weeks ago they released the “Kommunzieren” EP, which is a single they lifted from their LP “Love Hate Peace Fuck”. Their clear and simple lyrics, static drums and keyboard melodies are reminding to a certain extent of the 80th sound such as Synthie Pop, New Wave and Electro Funk.

But in fact the influences on their music are so extensive, you can’t assign their sound to a specific musical genre. It’s a form of music-collage using quotations of different genres, not ending in a cover but activating your music memory, as Plemo himself describes it correctly. So the tracks become more a bearer of mood. “Kommunizieren” is a high spirit track that directly spills over on your disposition while hearing.

Our buddies Phil de Gap and Ahoi Boi, a.k.a. ULTRNX kindly shipped us a “Komm und Tanz” remix d’extravagance, that flattens your ears and offers you an adequate start into the weekend.
