Munich Bronx

If you dig ghettotech-bass-boom-boom-thingumabob, you perhaps will take much pleasure in three guys from Munich and their a little odd titled project Schlachthofbronx. What will you have to expect? Well, by their own account something between heavy swearword cut-up bounce and basslines with German attitude dropping. Well then!

Morsy

Wanna grab a fine time and a tune for diving into a club atmosphere, deeply enjoy the easier way to hang your torso in the sun and need a soundtrack for oiling your body and tanning away all day to Africa? Grab a guy called Morsy, who is forming together with Dayta the duo Nana Chill.

Morsy pleased us with 4 gentle tracks that made our asses dither and our drops of sweat refreshing our faces.

MediaFire: Usher feat. Young Jeezy - Love in this club (Morsy Mix)
MediaFire: Harvey Mason - Groovin’ You (Morsy Mix)
MediaFire: Lil Wayne feat. Static Major - Lollypop (Morsy Mix)

yalla

This one already seems to pace around in the vastness of the www for quite a while, but the lanes to Tallinn are long, rocky and hard to pass. Everything is just a bit horse-and-buggy. Our email system for example is an old and lamely donkey cart, our access to the internet only can be established if we sacrifice a lamb and better don’t ask about generating electricity…

But finally Passion Pit made their way to us and we can serve you the first advance track from their forthcoming EP Chunk of Change what Pitchfork calls:

“…a glistening array of woozy textures that call to mind both the atmospheric twee-scapes of A Sunny Day in Glasgow and the ecstatic seaside fantasias of Air France.”

We just can add our confirmation!

What you read is what you get, is what you have to expect, is maybe what you’ve been searching for, is what will make you go plumb loco, is what happen only once in a blue moon.

Township Funk
Home, Music, Township Funk 24th Jul 2008 // 11:58 am

quoting myself:
I do not understand anything no more!
What the hell is this?
How did I missed this one?
Which planet is this one coming from?
Do I find back to my roots through this one?
Can I act like a street kid again?
Can I buy the drums?
Can I buy the dancers?
Is this a teardrop?
Can you make a noise with any part of your body sounding like the melody?
Can I send Warp Records a motley springlike bouquet for releasing “Township Funk” on 12″ in Sep?
Is South Africa the new hip place for electronic music?
Would you stop spending a million dollars to make a music clip like this one?
Would you pay a million dollars for owning a music clip like this one?

I do not dare to give this thing a name, this is indescribable. I shake everything I got all day!

quoting 3 Is A Crowd:
amazing stuff, rough, straight, dark, bootylicious…and the theme with that synth? wow

quoting Annika:
hot….this starts soooo bad…hahahaha, is that def!!! this sounds like sunday morning, when my head is caoutchouc, when I cannot sleep, but I’ll have to and my feet still vibrate!

quoting brrrln:
…practise these cool moves, I want to see you do them on the next Whip It Good…

quoting Edgar Allen Roll:
MTV - big black me dancing around a tree…

quoting a colleague:
this is where you’d love to shake everything

quoting Discobelle:
…and although it might be a bit old in mp3blog time it’s still banging and it’s been the talk of Grindin this week.

quoting my mama:
Further, further! Go on homey, bring that noise!

quoting rockmachine(FOEM):
These waves and forms make high spirits, I would definitely play it!

quoting Jizzo:
Buddy, hot song and hot clip….how is this style of music called?

The Chimney Climbers

Worldless or tight-lipped mails are sometimes really really helpful, by that amount of information and stuff to read, hear, enjoy, criticize and share. So, we be tight-lipped like the Pilot Creatives, who shipped The Chimney Climbers Remix, of a Bangers and Cash jewelry, to be part of a heavy rotation playlist.

Home, Music, Video, Electro 23rd Jul 2008 // 04:35 pm

This is Blamma! Blamma!’s latest visual gem, directed by James Cook.

It’s got a chiquaqua taking cocaine and humping a groupie’s leg! A dog in a leather mask? What more do you want, Kubricks? Do not worry: no animals were hurt, drugged or deafened.

We heartly heart London lovers and advise you to grab the limited vinyl-only EP “the.p” or we’re going to drill a hole in your knees twice! Just a few copies are still available. Don’t waste time to ask your mother for cash, just heist it or fake her signature on a check.

We Call It A Day
Home, Music, Remixes, Love 22nd Jul 2008 // 04:00 pm

We Call It A Day

Woolly thoughts. What would happen if we pension off our little baby at a moment’s notice. Give him a conclusive rest. TheFastLife@happy_hunting_grounds.org… Would anybody miss our over conscientious writing style, our purring voices, our shifted self-perception? Would anybody miss us? Would we even miss ourselves? Didn’t we ask these questions once already? Are we caught inside a self-repetitive infinite loop? Are we WE? Am I’m ME?

Besides that, what would our last post look like? What would we write about? Would we wallow in self-pityness? Would there be a last post at all? Or would we buzz off without any comment? Is this maybe already the introduction of the end?

Well, certainly it isn’t! And with all our heart we can say that we’re still in love with our daily biz! But sometimes we get in touch with such supernatural incredible songs that would be adequate to make our farewells. And our French friend Error Love brought a track of that supernatural kind into being.

This man has got the aptitude to take us by surprise over and over and over and over again. We pull off our hats, kneel down, want to hold him tight, cast him in gold and do everything imaginable, just that he’ll never stop to create music. Oh yes!!!

As a matter of course we advise you to take a listen to the marvellous charming sound of sayCeT, too.

Cut Up A Log

Oklahomas pick of the bunch Beatpunks bangs a rattle crackle remix onto our table, that might becomes the most beloved song of all woodworkers and lumberjacks. Possibly even the soundtrack of your darlings nightly snoring-orgy or alternatively of people with notorious respiratory disease. What a moronic nonsense? Hummm, maybe you’re right, but I firmly believe in this… really - I’m not kidding you.
