Santi White alias Santogold born in Philly, now living in Brooklyn and touring in UK and France currently, seems to have a more dubby voice than M.I.A., working together with her partner John Hill and is going to release their debut album in March 2008 on Lizard King Records. No other information published to it, yet, according to “Spex”.
Dj Dave Taylor aka Switch spotted the American grrrrrl. What you’re able to pre-listen is making you more than curious, shipping “L.E.S. Artistes” into your head, coming with an Indie-Beat, a sofd melody and a voice, that is going to cling on your brain cells for hours.
Furthermore “You’ll Find A Way” in the remix of Switch and Sinden gleams like a call to freedom, reminding of have a shiny walk in India. It’s predictable, that she’ll be great in ‘08, so keep an eye on her.
