So how could we connect that M.A.N.D.Y. is djing in Fabric London on Saturday while we’re (just) hanging in Berlin?! Why not dare a small foresight…and remind that M.A.N.D.Y. is Berlin, hu.
Next January “Fabric 38″ will be released. The Fabric-Cds are a Mix-CD-series, a handpicked armada of djs is allowed to create. Our personal favourite, so far, is number 29 by Tiefschwarz. This time Fabric London won M.A.N.D.Y. - Boys to conquer the 38. First they play next Saturday together with Luke Slater (who smashed Fabric 32) and the Issst-Boys in Fabric, are going to publish a 30min mix in the end of the year, that you’re going to receive as soon as possible and finally complete Fabric 38, out on January the 14th.
In Fabric 38 M.A.N.D.Y. “tenderly tells a story that swells between moments of poetic ache and voracious hunger” throughout the 25 tracks. “Spanned on by deep, ethereal techno, glitchy staccato and bass-heavy machine funk, the tracks sparkle alongside eachother with brilliant elegance” making me curious on next fabric mix.
