Almost 11yrs gone by, since Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem Christo aka Guy-Man did their “Homework” perfectly and were rewarded with a lifelong A++. Now Pete Tong of Radio 1 is trying to find out exactly who these two robots are, that redefined dance music revolutionary and enormous.
Get this mix of music and interviews to receive an impression of this 2 humans after all. Radio 1 has - amongst others - some conversation with Stuart McMillan from Slam and Dave Clark from Soma Records, they signed the Dafts back in 1994. Maybe none of this would have happened without these 2 boys from Glasgow.
Get some words from Calvin Harris, Vitalic, Michel Gondry, Justice. Also Laurent Brancowitz (Phoenix) was interviewed, who founded a Band with Thomas and Guy at the age of 12, on Radio 1, last thursday. And get your head beaten up with a bat by some extra tunes, we have to deal with, our whole lifetime. Yes, we are fans.

Daft Video
Daft Punk published a high variety of great music-clips on tv, such as classic-ingenious “Around the World” (by Michel Gondry), “Da Funk” (by Spike Jonze) and our private favourite “Revolution 909″ (by Roman Coppola). Don’t miss “Aerodynamic”, because it’s just such a magnifique / gorgeous voyage.
They also wrote a script for an Anime-Musical, called “Interstella 5555 - The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem”, you can get on DVD. In 2006, Daft Punk wrote and produced a movie, called “Electroma”, where (in shortform) 2 robots try to become human.
And last, but never the least, get into a recording of the “Harder Better Faster Stronger (Alive 2007)” - tour, visiting, performing and smashing up Brooklyn.
